Young Adult Participation Guide and Festival Certificates

Here at the Council for British Archaeology (CBA) we are working hard to ensure that we support everyone to participate in archaeology in ways that are enjoyable and interesting to them. We have created a short guide that suggests ways of creating activities and events that appeal to young adults.

We have also created a variety of certificates to recognise and celebrate the participation of young people in the Festival

Access the guide and certificates here: Guide and Certificates

Festival of Archaeology Activities for Young People 2021

Here at the Council for British Archaeology (CBA) we are really proud of our track record of engaging young people in archaeology through our Young Archaeologists' Club and the activities we deliver throughout the year. As part of this year's Festival of Archaeology 2021 we will be undertaking bespoke youth events and activities, plus launching some amazing new projects and resources for young people. Many of which have a particular focus on the Festival's theme of Exploring Local Place.

Take a look at our on the ground activity days in Cambridgeshire, Cheshire and Cumbria,  Youth Takeover Day, our YAC day and much more. We hope you can join us!
