Archaeology for all
Welcome to the CBA South Midlands group, an autonomous local group under the umbrella
of the national Council for British Archaeology. CBA South Midlands covers four counties —
Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. We are an educational
charity working to involve people in archaeology and to promote the appreciation and care
of the historic environment for the benefit of the present and future generations.
Our aim with this site is to provide information, advice and resources to those wishing to
know more about the archaeology of the South Midlands or to become involved in practical
ways with fieldwork, research or conservation. Let us know what you would like to find
here!
